Carline Schedule 2024-25

Carline is a team effort.

We have a plan to make sure students arrive safely and parents can get in and out as expeditiously as possible.

How You Can Help

• Observe the carline schedule as closely as possible.

• Load your child as quickly and safely as possible in the afternoon. 

• Move into the lot and off Paradise Drive as safely and respectfully as possible.

• Read and share the following information with all approved adults who partner with you to drop off and pick up your child(ren).

• Treat the Crew with kindness and understanding.

• Review the Corte Madera Car Line Procedures section in the Parent Handbook for more detailed information.

Important Details

• Toddler Lane: Please keep the third lane (by the fence of the Big Field) open for Toddler families until 8:05 am. The Junior High Van will join this line along with Primary students of Elementary siblings. 

• Reduced Sibling Wait Time: Lower Elementary with Primary siblings will be joining the afternoon pick-up schedule at the same time as their Primary sibling.

Safety & Late Arrival Reminders

• Turn off your engines while in the active loading and unloading zone.

• Drive slowly through the parking lot and Elementary Circle. 

• Your children must stay in the car -- please, no hanging out the windows or sunroofs (or driving on your lap…)

• Do not move forward until directed by a Car Line Director

• Do not use your cell phone in the car line

• Late arrival (after 8:25 am) Toddler or Primary: Please park in a numbered spot, escort your child to the Primary gate, and ring the doorbell to notify the Front Office. An office member will meet you and your child at the Primary gate for you to sign in and then escort your student(s) to class.

• Late arrival (after 8:25 am) in the Elementary: Please park at the Elementary gate and call the Front Office who will notify your classroom. An adult will come out to collect your child.

MINIMUM DAY SCHEDULE

• 11:00 am: Song Sparrow

• 11:15 am: Sandpiper

• 11:30 am: Mourning Dove and Quail

• 11:35 am: Lower Elementary

• 11:40 am: Primary with Elementary Siblings

• 11:45 am: Pelican, Great Blue Heron and Junior High

• 11:55 am: Upper Elementary

Morning Carline Schedule

• 7:30-7:40 am -- Morning ASC for Toddler & Primary 

  • Please pull into the unloading zone and safely escort your child to the Primary gate.

  • If it is past 7:40 am, and especially if the carline has begun, please wait in your car for an Assistant to support your child.
     

• 7:55 - 8:05 am -- Morning Drop-Off for All Toddlers    

  • Please pull into the parking lot as early as 7:45 am.

  • Please use the third lane (by the fence of the Big Field).

  • If you arrive after 8:05 am, a Primary -- not a Toddler -- Assistant will support your child into class because Toddler Assistants will not be available.
     

• 7:55 - 8:05 am -- Morning Drop-Off for All Lower Elementary and their Upper Elementary Siblings 

  • The Elementary gate opens at 7:45 am. You are encouraged to enter and queue in the Elementary Circle if there is space. Please stage on the shoulder of Paradise Drive while waiting.
     

• 8:00 am -- Junior High students catching the van. 

  • The van will join the third lane (by the fence of the Big Field).
     

• 8:05 am -- All Primary students with Elementary siblings 

  • Please keep the third Lane open for Toddler families until 8:05. 

  • Primary students with Elementary siblings will join the third lane at this time.
     

• 8:05-8:15 am -- Primary children in Mourning Dove and Quail. 

  • Primary families may stage in the first and second lanes (the two left lanes) in the main lot before the start of carline at 8:05 am.

  • Please keep the third lane (by the fence of the Big Field) open for Toddler families, the Junior High Van, and Primary students of Elementary siblings until 8:05 am.

  • After 8:05, please fill all three lanes. 

  • The Carline Director will direct you forward as quickly as possible.
     

• 8:10-8:20 am -- Upper Elementary 

  • Cars enter Elementary Circle and stage on the shoulder of Paradise Drive.
     

• 8:15-8:25 am -- Primary children in Pelican and Great Blue Heron 

  • Please fill all three lanes. 

  • The Carline Director will direct you forward as quickly as possible.
     

• 8:25 am -- Carline closes

  • Toddler and Primary late arrivals, please park, escort your child to the gate, and ring the doorbell to notify the Front Office who will meet you and your child at the Primary gate.

  • Elementary late arrivals, please park at the Elementary gate and call the Front Office who will notify your classroom. An adult will come out to collect your child.  

Afternoon Carline Schedule

Please stage on the shoulder of Paradise Drive while waiting.

• 11:20 am -- Toddler Half-Day Pick up 

• 11:30 am – Half-day Primary sibling of half-day Toddler pick up.

• 11:40 am – Half-day Primary pick up.

• 2:25 pm – Song Sparrow Full-day pick up.

• 2:30 pm – Full-day Primary with full-day Toddler sibling pick up at the Primary gate.

• 2:40 pm – Sandpiper Full-day Toddler pickup.

• 2:50 pm – Full-day Mourning Dove and Quail pick up.

• 2:55 pm – Lower Elementary pick up.*

• 3:00 pm – Full-day Pelican and Great Blue Heron pick up.

• 3:10 pm – Upper Elementary pickup and Lower Elementary children with Upper Elementary siblings.*

* Lower Elementary with Primary siblings should be picked up at the Primary gate at the time their sibling gets picked up.
