The Gather for Good Edible Education Series

Climate Change and Coffee

May 14, 6:30 PM

Join us for a one-of-a-kind lecture with Dr. Elizabeth Shapiro-Garza, Associate Professor of the Practice of Environmental Policy and Management at Duke University (and our head of school, Sam Shapiro's, big sister), on climate change and the future of the coffee industry. Alumni parent Bryan Meehan, Exec Chair of Blue Bottle Coffee, will join the discussion to share the unique challenges Blue Bottle faces as a pioneer in environmental sustainability; as he and his three daughters demonstrate how to brew the perfect cup. Caffeine not required!

This is a free community event and all are welcome. Zoom details to follow.
