2012 Farmer's Fête Donation Ideas:

Family Donation Ideas:

  • Use of a Vacation Home or Time-Share Property (these are especially important!)
  • Tickets to Sports event/Opera/Ballet/Ski resort (or season tickets to other venues)
  • Purchase a Gift Certificate to be donated to the auction: think of your favorite resorts, restaurants, stores, spas, children's services
  • Donate your professional services, or ask your friends and contacts in the service industry to donate a few hours or a one-time service
  • Special Dinner Packages: Offer or arrange a special lunch or dinner package for 6 to 12 people with the owner or winemaker at a winery, or the chef of a well known or award winning restaurant or resort. These could be packaged with tours, special destinations, or overnight stays to enhance the value
  • Experiences: Arrange a tour with the owner or operator (perhaps with lunch provided) of a farm, ranch, orchard, working forest, vineyard, dairy, brewery, nursery, sports venue, etc.
  • Celebrity Packages: Who do you know that is a celebrity in your community or organization? Ask him or her to create an exclusive experience to offer at our auction or donate time one-on-one for an hour or two
