From toddlers to young teens.
In the classroom and beyond.
They prepare, persist, present and perform.
MMS students are our school.
At Marin Montessori School, children at every level of development are able to shine and celebrate their achievements. We are proud to share some of the wonderful work of our students. They are the true reflection of the school.
Civil War Presentation (Upper Elementary Class)
Dressed in navy "uniforms" and red bandanas, 25 Upper Elementary children marched onto Angel Island on January 17 to relive the life of Civil War Union soldiers. As their Living History project, the students divided into groups led by a captain. Each group studied an aspect of the Civil War and presented it to the class before embarking on their overnight tour of duty. Afterwards, they shared their experiences with MMS parents, students and friends, including a taste of hard tack (worm-infested bread without the worms).
